I am a mechanical engineer who spent years watching good people lose whole days to work a computer should have been doing. Eventually I started building the tools to take that work off them, and it turned into a career.
That engineering background is still how I approach a build. Understand the system before changing it, design for the person who has to operate it, and test against reality rather than a tidy sample. Today I work with clients worldwide through Upwork and directly, building spreadsheet automation, internal business tools and full web applications.
